One of the biggest construction exhibitions of the world is the Big 5 Show, based in Dubai. We took part of the Big 5 2019, and it was truly magnificent! Our main goals – networking and discover new innovations – were completely accomplished!
Since Beth-Bau is in the building industry we wanted to see the international face and trends of this industry. That’s why our management decided to attend the biggest relating international exhibition, at the home of modern architecture. After landing with the plane in Dubai, even the airport was fascinating but the real miracle were the huge skyscrapers standing over our taxi.
We took part of the exhibition’s all three days. Almost all the countries of the world were represented. We’ve seen several exciting innovations and had talked to many company-representatives. Besides of the exhibitors’ projects we had an excellent opportunity to learn from the presentations of engineers and company leaders.
Fortunately, we had a little time to see the city as well. Dubai is amazing! We have seen dolphin and seal show and also we’ve admired the huge aquarium full of sharks in the Dubai Mall. But the best experience was certainly the few hours spent on the 125th floor of the Burj Khalifa, where we have seen the night lights of Dubai from over 500 metres above!
All of our team came home hoping that we can go back to this amazing city as soon as possible, and get new architectural inspirations and experiences!
